Liberty PA and Friends of Dan Anders are seeking a Community Organizer
Speaking of our new roommate...we'll be sharing office space and an Organizer with judicial candidate Dan Anders, who is running for Philadelphia's Court of Common Pleas. For those of you in the Philadelphia area and the protesters who keep mucking up our Pride events, Dan needs no introduction. For everyone else, Dan is a well-respected leader in the gay community and has served as a volunteer attorney for many community organizations, including Liberty PA, Philly Pride Presents, and the Center for Lesbian and Gay Civil Rights.

The Organizer will be directly responsible for management of a voter contact program, website and e-mail communications, volunteer recruitment, and tasks related to fundraising initiatives.

The position is based in Philadelphia, full-time, salaried + health benefits and the contract will begin on December 1, 2006 and end on May 31, 2007. The Organizer will be encouraged to apply for Liberty PA's 2008 campaign cycle, which will begin summer of 2007. Salary is commensurate with experience.
